I'd like to use this thread as the official vote for Jim Main's application for membership. In my opinion Cosmic Man is a great example of what Jim is all about. Quality small press comics with exciting stories and excellent production value. Jim has a long history with small press publishing and the United Fanzine Organization. I think it would be great for the group to have him back in the fold. I vote YES. ;D

I haven't gotten my copy of Cosmic Man yet -- I think it got sent to my old address, hopefully it will get forwarded. But I've seen plenty of Jim's publications over the years, and he always puts out a quality product. I have no qualms about giving him a big fat YES vote. Welcome back, Jim!

I did get this and I thought this was a very cool comic. I don't have it in front of me, but the impressions that I was left with was that the art was inconsistent and times. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. The story was well told and I look forward to the next issue.
Thanks for a very cool comic Jim.

My vote for Jim Main is an enthusiastic YES! I did receive Cosmic Man (very Starlin-esque title, I must add), and had a chance to thumb through it. The artwork has a nice raw, primitive feel to it, which I'm in the mood for right now. I look forward to reading it.

100 percent YES on Jim Main for UFO membership! The man is a small press legend, and is publishing some of the very finest comics and zines in the network today. And I'm not just biased because I wrote COSMIC MAN lol. Seriously, I think that Jim can add quality and enthusiasm and will be a great asset to the UFO, as he was in years past.

I voted yes, even though I haven't gotten to read the book yet!
Jim, I miss the days we used to meet up at the Big Apple Cons! Smaller conventions in the basement of a church...
