Well, this is a no-brainer if I've ever heard one. Doc's a great guy and a boon to small press.
Hell, YEAH!

I would like to give a great big YES!!!! vote to the admittance of Lance "Doc" Boucher to the ranks of the United Fanzine Organization. Lance is a fine human being, a wealth of knowledge in matters pertaining to comic fandom history and comic books in general. Admit the guy asap! GJ

Sure, I'll add another YES vote.
I will say that the production on these books is a little off -- a lot of the text is so small and blurry that it's unreadable. But there's a lot of interesting stuff in there, and I like the idea of an all-inclusive, anything-goes kind of anthology. Welcome aboard!

and there it is, with 2 more votes, Doc is officially a member of the UFO!!
JKC~ I agree with you that there are definitely some production problems with Inter-fanthology but it is my opinion that thos issues can be addressed and fixed inthe future with some good feedback. My YES vote was based on the content in the book and Doc's history, knowledge and love of all things small press...

Welcome to the UFO, DOC!
Kevin, I agree with you also, and brought up that very point in my column in the upcoming T-Frags. It's great when slick printing is available these days, but sometimes I think it limits "quality control" by the editor, where such matters are (presumably) out of the editor's hands to correct. One advantage of the simpler photocopied format like my zine is that it's easier to correct such obvious problems when printed up.

Yeah sorry about that, The "magazine-size" version was the error version. the "comic book size was the corrected one. Hoping the comic one was more to your pleasing. The digest was just an earlier preview ashcan I thought you would all like. I have two more books in the oven and ready to go, just waiting for some medical issues get settled. Here is a new project I am starting up, now it's only a sketch and took about 20 minutes so still tweaking. Front row: Star*, Mighty-Man, Wonder Man, Fighting Spirit Middle row: Lady Liberty, Eagle, Columbia, Stripe Back Row: Rocket RedGlare, The Blue Light, The Constitution, Every-Man and Dr. Psycho. Ok the back row is pretty much heroes I created as a kid and did change the names except Blue Light and Dr Psycho (I couldn't have EVERYONE with patriotic names) the two in the front are public domain Golden Age characters: Mighty-Man (Fawcett) and Wonder Man (Fox). All together, 13 heroes representing the 13 colonies. *Yes, Jim Main has a character with the same name.
